hot or not?

I'm totally down with innovation and I wholly support people who take the incentive to come up with crafty inventions that make life easier, however, I'm not sure if Toastabags are more convenient or if they simply enable people to be even more lazy than they already are (and waste more paper in the process). Functionally speaking, I wonder if a standard toaster slot will even accommodate 2 slices of bread with cheese and tomatoes. That's just my immediate reaction, but I'm curious to know what you think.

They come in "twin packs" and there are 3 different styles; lite, gold, and black which range from $2.90 to $7.30. I have no idea what the difference is, but that seems far from cheap. What do you think? Would you buy Toastabags?

I'd definitely buy toastabags if I really wanted to set fire to my house.

This totally doesn't make sense to me...how do those tomatoes not fall to the bottom of the sandwich...?

I'd definitely not buy toastbags, but I would like someone to invent a toaster that is easy to get my toast (read: english muffins) out of without burning the hell out of fingers.

Actually, maybe one exists already though and I just don't buy a new toaster often enough...hmmm.

Wouldn't it make sense if there was a side loading toaster? I suppose that would be called a toaster oven then...? OK, so if there are already toaster ovens, then why are toasters still sold? what ever happened to making multifunctional appliances so we can ditch the ones that kill us because we resort to sticking forks in them to retrieve our food?

True true! And the comments cracked me up ;-) I would not buy this & hope someone would please invent something to also keep me from burning my fingers. I eat toast daily and try to find new ways, but nothing I could ever market... Maybe use the Ove Glove? ;-)

I don't know what the problem is with toaster design. It would be nice if it popped the toast up high enough for you to get it, like a pop tart, for example.

Why the design doesn't do that is beyond me. I wonder how many people get hurt sticking metal objects in them.
